This trip will provide nine CLC volunteers the opportunity and privilege of proclaiming God's saving word to an estimated 3000 children.
Some of these children will be members of CLC-affiliated congregations, but most of them will not. For many of the children, this will be the first time they have heard a clear, and Biblical presentation of the Good News of Jesus Christ as the one who died and rose from the dead for their sins!
The Theme for our Child Evangelism Lessons is: "Get to Know the Real Jesus" with lessons that will teach the truths of Scripture that reveal Jesus as True God, True Man, The Savior, and that He died and rose for all!
The Mission Helpers will be flying from Chicago to Doha to Lusaka. While in Zambia they will spend the first week teaching in the Lusaka area. They will then travel several hours to Livingstone near the southern border where they will visit the Zambia-CLC headquarters and will teach in several surrounding villages. They will be traveling together but will divide into two teams each day to take the Gospel to different villages in and around Lusaka and Livingstone.
Please pray that the Lord would give an abundance of wisdom, love, compassion, patience, and safety for the Mission Helpers and to those they go to serve as the Gospel is proclaimed to 3000+ children in several villages and cities in Zambia. Pray also for the pastors and church leaders who have spent much time and effort preparing for this Gospel outreach opportunity.
